What It Is
For one evening a month, Main Street at Lakewood Ranch closes to traffic and fills up with a live band, food vendors, beer and drink trucks, and an easy, neighborly crowd. Each month features a different act and benefits a different local charity, so the night does a little good while it’s at it. The August 7 show runs 6:00 to 9:00 PM — early enough to bring the kids, late enough to make a real evening of it.
There’s a dedicated kids’ zone with games and activities, so the younger crew stays busy while the adults catch the music. Dogs are welcome too, as long as they’re on a short leash. Bring your folding chairs; just leave the coolers at home, since food and drinks are for sale on-site.
