There’s a reason Laser Light Nights at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Bradenton has become a summer ritual on the Gulf Coast. It takes the museum’s planetarium dome and turns it into a full-sensory laser-and-music concert — and the 2026 season runs all the way through September 6, which means there’s still plenty of summer left to catch one.
What It Is
Inside the planetarium, synchronized lasers and immersive visuals play across the dome to the music of artists spanning Queen, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Taylor Swift, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson. Each show is built around a different album or artist, so you can pick the night that matches your soundtrack. It’s loud, it’s bright, it’s cool and dark — the polar opposite of a hot afternoon on the sand.
Shows run Thursdays at 6:00 PM and Fridays and Saturdays at 6:00 and 7:00 PM, with doors at 5:30. Tickets are modestly priced and popular shows sell out in advance, so it’s worth booking ahead.
