Traditionally, these two establishments that share the same footprint are our favorite places to hang out, dine, and chill pretty much any time of the year, offering sea views, live entertainment, and fresh seafood dishes. At Thanksgiving, they kick their meals up a notch or two, offering a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings in addition to their regular menu, giving you and your family some very delicious choices.
Pier 22, 1200 1st Avenue W in Bradenton
Pier 22 also offers waterfront views and is famous for their traditional turkey dinner served at lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended.
Mean Dean’s Local Kitchen, 6059 26th Street W in Bradenton
Choices are great and Mean Dean’s Local Kitchen will also be offering a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including our personal favorite, Herb Cornbread Stuffing.
Rumrunners, 5848 Cape Harbor Drive in Cape Coral
This upscale restaurant is famous for their steak, seafood, live entertainment, and for being open on Thanksgiving, offering diners a dining experience that will never be forgotten. Live music is scheduled on Thanksgiving and reservations are definitely recommended.
Euphemia Haye Restaurant & the Haye Loft, 5540 Gulf of Mexico Drive in Longboat Key
Offering your choice of a roast duck or sliced turkey on Thanksgiving, all the traditional fixings will be served at Euphemia Haye Restaurant. Also offering to go pie orders (orders must be placed at least a week in advance) our RentTheKeys guests who are choosing to create a meal at home can skip the baking part, if they like.
Thanksgiving Dinner in the Florida Keys at North Port
We were unable to find any restaurants open for Thanksgiving in North Port, but that doesn’t mean you need to eat at home when staying in our North Port sanctuaries as Port Charlotte is just 10 miles away and offers the restaurant listed below.
Cody’s Original Roadhouse, 1441 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte
This local chain restaurant is famous for serving down home food that doesn’t taste chain restaurant-ish at all.
Grill at 1951, 1951 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte
We’re offering a second choice in Port Charlotte since North Port had none, but this is not a second tier restaurant. Offering an upscale menu that will be appreciated by the most discerning of palates, The Grill at 1951 is one of our favorite Thanksgiving restaurants.
Duvall’s Fresh. Local. Seafood, 1435 Main Street in Downtown Sarasota
The seafood served at Duvall’s is known for being fresh, sweet, and delicious, and the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings they serve on Thanksgiving is equally fresh and delicious!
The Capital Grille, 180 University Town Center Drive in Sarasota, Near Siesta Key
Located not far off Siesta Key in Sarasota, the Capital Grille offers a fine dining experience that elevates the traditional turkey dinner they serve. Coming with all the side dishes you love, with the addition of some haute cuisine extras including cranberry pear chutney, guests can also choose from their regular menu if tradition is not what they seek.
