Our first loves are the strong and silent men who make sure the oil is changed in our cars and that are freshly washed before we head off any road trip that takes longer than a few minutes. Anna Maria Island Adventures
Our Anna Maria Island holiday hideaways will always be located just a few minutes away from white sand beaches and turquoise waters, and most often will be condos located in the best communities on the island. We do offer homes here as well, though, so larger families may choose to stay here as well. The proximity to the beaches of AMI will allow dad to spend many happy hours with fishing pole in hand, perhaps catching the evening meals that he can also grill on community or private grills. For a special treat, be sure to treat him to a dinner at the Rod & Reel Pier, located at 875 N Shore Drive offering a peek into the Old Florida vibe and serving a menu filled with seafood favorites, much of which were sourced from the waters that surround the old pier on which the restaurant is located.
The Buzz About Bradenton
We at RentTheKeys love the family vibe and small-town charm of Bradenton and some of our most popular homes can be found within its city limits, including some riverfront properties that will enable dad to fish from their docks without having to do more than roll out of bed and fill a cooler. If your dad is a golfer, there are many wonderful courses in the area, including the River Run Golf Links, located at 1801 27th Street E. The Braden River runs through this beautiful municipal course which hosts five different amateur events every year and provides a challenging but not intimidating game for golfers of all skill levels.
A Peek at Port Charlotte
Our homes in Port Charlotte are family homes, giving dad the space he needs and super soft sofas that will become his new favorite napping spot. And because there is nothing more he loves than a good dad joke and a thick and juicy steak, we suggest dinner and a show at Visani Italian Steakhouse and Comedy Theater, located at 2400 Kings Highway, hitting on two of his favorite things. Closed on Sundays and Mondays, your best bet will be to reserve tickets for a Saturday show, which is when most of the best headliners perform.
A Sanctuary in Sarasota
Sarasota is the site of our largest number of vacation homes and condos, ensuring that whatever dad prefers will be easily found and booked and if he loves hanging out poolside, many of our Sarasota homes offer private pools anchoring screened in lanais. Some fun things he may enjoy while staying in Sarasota include a visit to the Sarasota Classic Car Museum, 5500 N Tamiami Trail and a stop in the Big Top Brewing Company, 975 Cattlemen Road. The Big Top Brewing Company is famous for its Florida beers and live entertainment, while the Sarasota Classic Car Museum offers 60,000 square feet of a constantly changing selection of classic cars he will wish he could make his own.
Serenity on Siesta Key
Offering both condos and homes on beautiful Siesta Key, sitting out on balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in our beachfront escapes, may be his absolute favorite activity. But just in case he is seeking more from our Siesta Key sanctuaries, you can reassure him that the televisions inside will all be late model ones offering crystal-clear pictures that will make him feel like he is sitting behind the dugout, watching his favorite baseball team play. Siesta Key is a smaller key, just over 3.5 square miles in size, but it offers a variety of fun activities to keep him interested. If your dad is a thrill seeker, parasailing, jet skiing, and kiteboarding are popular Siesta Key activities.
