A Shell House Getaway a 3 bedroom 4 bath private pool home, gulf side is approx. 200 steps to the powdery sands of Crescent Beach on Siesta Key!! This three bedroom, four bath private pool home is your sanctuary, a peaceful portal for happiness to bond with family and friends, whether you are seeking relaxation or exploring Siesta Key and Sarasota.
With an updated kitchen and beautifully remodeled bathrooms, this approx.1,896 square foot, 3-bedroom, 4 full bath home features a private pool and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The gated/walled outdoor space is lush with foliage and palm trees and multiple lounge areas, a sun deck and 2 shaded pergolas.
The living room and other spaces in the home features the original pecky cypress wood walls an updated kitchen and 3 beautiful remodeled bathrooms. The living room which features a u-shaped sectional is a perfect place to catch up on your day or play games. The updated kitchen is well equipped to cook your favorite meals or make sandwiches for a beach picnic or a boating excursion.
The options for dining are plentiful, dine at the indoor table next to the kitchen or through the French doors, dine alfresco at the patio table or dine pool side. Grilling your favorite meals or your catch of the day is easy with the provided gas grill. Three bedrooms and a trundle bed give you ample space for family and friends. The oversized main bedroom features a King size bed, a remodeled full bathroom with a two-sink vanity and a walk-in shower, the second guest room coined the “pool bedroom” has direct access out to the pool and features a King size bed and remodeled ensuite bathroom with a large vanity and a walk-in shower. The lovely third bedroom features a full-size bed with ensuite bathroom and a walk-in shower. In the open space between the kitchen and bedrooms is a trundle daybed that opens to a full-size bed with an adjacent remodeled full-size bathroom with a deep tub and shower combination. The home includes central AC, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cable TV and Internet/Wifi. Beach and pool life couldn’t be easier with beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, pool float and noodles.
A Shell House Getaway is dog friendly with street and beach restrictions. One small dog allowed. There are no dogs allowed on Windsong Lane the street that the house resides. Dogs must be leashed outside and can only use the green strip of grass in front of the house. Dogs need to be driven or carried up to Midnight Pass Road to walk. There are also no dogs allowed on Crescent Beach on Siesta Key. Sarasota County is very strict about no dogs on Siesta Key beaches, the first warning is $50.00 and the second warning is $200.00. Siesta Key does have dog friendly restaurants and there are dog parks in Sarasota County.
Siesta Key and Sarasota - Fun things to do
Enjoy the spectacular Siesta Key sunsets on the beach and on Sundays find yourself at the weekly Drum Circle in front of the Siesta Key Beach Pavilion. When you return from shelling on either Crescent Beach, Lido Beach or Turtle Beach there is a shell table on the back patio to organize your treasures. Venturing out one and half miles north to Siesta Key Village or to the south end of the island enjoy delicious local restaurants, shopping, and a grocery market. You can catch the Siesta Key Breeze trolley for free on Midnight Pass Road, Beach Road or Ocean Blvd. Check out the Siesta Key Farmers Market for produce, shopping, art every Sunday from 8AM to 12:00pm. Siesta Key has boating, parasailing, fishing, and hiking in Myakka River State Park. Downtown Sarasota and St. Armand’s Circle has wonderful restaurants and shopping. Visit the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, numerous art galleries and exhibits including the Sarasota Art Museum, The Ringling, Marietta Museum of Art and Whimsy, Sarasota Classic Car Museum, Towles Court Artist Colony, Wyland Galleries. Just south in Osprey visit the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens Butterfly House in historic Spanish Point.
