It’s the little extras that help breweries stand out in a crowd, and Motorworks Brewing takes us back to Bradenton for a cold one and an adventure in fun and excitement. Offering award-winning brews, a beer garden in which to hang out, and providing a variety of events to ensure that your Florida fun doesn’t have to end too soon, this brew company actually offers two locations: the one we are visiting today in Bradenton, and one a little further south in Orlando.

One of our favorite things about the beers these craft breweries create (after their taste) are the names, which are imaginative, whimsical, and often quite apt! The beers at Motorworks Brewin Sarasotaa are engine related, including a Pulp Friction Grapefruit IPA that we think you will fall in love with. The lone exception, however, is our favorite, their Adoptable Lager, coming in cans emblazoned with the pics of local pups that are adoptable from Manatee Animal Services. This beer has been featured on top news shows and talk shows and is definitely the talk of the town, being delicious as well as cute and heartwarming! Enjoy a can or more (How many different dogs can you collect?) in their neon-lit beer garden as you listen to live music on a beautiful Florida night and try and tell us that paradise doesn’t exist! Motorworks Brewing was Bradenton’s first brewery, built in a 1923 dealership and offers 27,000 feet of Brewing and Taproom space, as well as offering a rotating selection of beers on 26 taps and a regular food truck is on the schedule, something we consider vitally important to the success of a brewery visit! Live music plays in the beer garden on weekends but may be moved inside to the tap room in the case of bad weather and brewery events can include cornhole nights, sports nights, and even comedy nights and their calendar will explain in more detail what fun will be in store for you during your visit!
