Turtle Beach

In a world that often doesn’t give a second thought to the more vulnerable creatures that inhabit it, we Floridians stand out, as we offer refuges, protection, and safe places for much of the wildlife that lives here, including the turtles that make their home on Turtle Beach! This beach is a popular nesting spot for the sea turtles that live in this area, but there is plenty of room to be shared with families and friends; just be sure to avoid the areas where signs are posted!

Turtle Beach is Located on South Siesta Key

There is no limit to the amount of fun you can have on this favored beach located on Siesta Key in Sarasota County, and because it is close to many of our Rent The Keys vacation sanctuaries, you will be able to spend as much time as you want on its sandy shores. Play a pick-up game of beach volleyball with potential new friends, let your kids monkey around on the playground when the salty waters start to burn their eyes a little too much, or join in another impromptu game, this time at the horseshoe pits, where fun is always ready to be had! Also offering picnic pavilions for middle of the day food breaks (including grills, so hot meals can be had as well), a boat/kayak/canoe ramps, public parking, and restrooms, the only thing this popular beach area lacks is lifeguard stations. Be sure to follow the directions of the colorful flags which signify the swimming conditions, and you will be perfectly safe. Finally, although there is no way of proving it, hearsay has it that the magic of the sands on Turtle Beach Florida help ensure that sandcastles built here turn out stronger and more elaborate than any built anywhere else!
