Island House - Longboard Description
Island House is designed to house multiple families in carefree (and private) harmony, and the Longboard segment is another perfect example. Offering three spacious bedrooms and one very large bathroom, Longboard is located within walking distance of the beach on Anna Maria Island. So close, in fact, if you open your windows, you and up to six guests will be able to smell the sea and listen to the waves crash against the white sand beaches our island home is known for!
Cheerful and Colorful
Florida is famed for its bright pastel color schemes, and Island House - Longboard lives up to the state’s reputation. Walk into spaces with pastel blue walls decorated with accented with all the colors of the rainbow and fall in love.
Sand-colored sofas rest under the bright painting of a beach cottage and its sailboat, providing a comfortable place to rest, relax, and recharge. Hardwood floors that feel cool against bare feet are polished to a warm glow, and a striped reading chair is placed in such a way that it enjoys the best light for reading and perfect views of the state-of-the-art television hanging across from the living room set.
The kitchen offers the charm of a farmhouse, featuring updated appliances, warm wood cabinets, and a stylish stone tile that gives the room a touch of elegance that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Longboard, unlike Funboard, offers a full dining room space, tucked between windows and a glass sliding doors, ensuring the room stays bright throughout the day and making it an ideal hangout space on lazy days at home. A modern wingback chair is hidden in a corner under a standing lamp, allowing for another space in which to read, relax, or simply daydream about your upcoming Anna Maria Island adventures.
A king bed anchors the colorful master suite of Island House - Longboard, providing an oasis of calm in the midst of bright and fun colors. Offering its own television perched atop a brilliant red bureau, this room captures fun and tranquility on different levels.
Bedroom two is a serene space painted a cool blue featuring a comfortable queen bed with white wicker headboard and a dramatic photograph of the Florida sunset hanging over it. This bright space always feels large and peaceful.
The third and final bedroom is designed to make a child feel comfortable, offering a twin bed, large window, and an extra place for mom or dad to sit and read bedtime stories every night.
The only bath is outfitted with updated fixtures, a tiled shower, and enough towels and wash clothes for everyone to use. Longboard also offers a washer and dryer and access to the outdoor space where additional seating, a barbecue grill, and sunset views are waiting to be discovered.
