Gulf Gate Estates Description
Located just a few miles from the world-famous Siesta Key Beach, our Gulf Gate Estates 4-bedroom, 2-bath charmer offers a family vacation experience for up to eight guests that will be remembered happily for years to come. This sweet cottage offers no pretenses but provides guests with shelter, warmth, and good times during their stay in our fabulous Florida town.
Cobblestone bricks of different colors lead the way up to a front porch where a cute little bistro set invites guests to sit out here and watch the world go by. The front door opens into a spacious great room filled with light that spills in from a wall of windows in the living room where comfort abounds. Sink into the cozy white depths of the creamy white sofa, loveseat and chair that faces a large television resting in the corner. From this vantage point you can examine all the public spaces of the home, starting with the newly renovated kitchen.
Offering custom cabinets, granite countertops, and all new stainless steel appliances, the aforementioned kitchen is designed to exceed all travelers expectations. An expansive breakfast bar offers overflow seating for three guests to sit and chat with whomever is in charge of the day’s menu.
A farmhouse table invites the family to come together to enjoy a great meal, play board games, or simply make plans for the next day’s adventures. Six chairs surround the table, but the two barstools can be brought to the table as well, ensuring that everyone has a seat for the big meal.
Wood floors add charm to the master bedroom, on which a plush and inviting queen bed topped with colorful linens awaits the night’s guests. An accent wall of barnwood leads the way to a separate seating area where a bistro table and chairs make a great place to enjoy your favorite morning beverage.
The second bedroom offers another queen bed topped with a colorful patchwork quilt and a large window with views of the landscape outside. There are no en suite baths in this charming cottage, but two baths ensure that all grooming and privacy needs are met.
In bedroom three we find a wide-open space filled with light and anchored by a plush and comfortable queen bed. This room has the feel of a farmhouse and remains quiet and serene no matter how loud the other occupants of the house may be.
Bedroom four has harbored the secrets and giggles of young children for many a year with its two twin beds and cheerful ambience. Offering a décor that appeals to young and old, adult siblings may choose to relive their youthful experiences by sharing a room once again.
The baths in our Gulf Gate Estates cottage offer a sample of retro Florida with original bath and tile combinations and a taste of the modern with granite topped vanities and updated fixtures. A full-sized washer and dryer help keep swimsuits chlorine free and ready for use each morning and also serves a secondary purpose of allowing travelers to pack light and save room in their luggage for souvenirs.
The backyard of this charming cottage offers all the magic of a typical Florida home, including a private pool! Work on your tan lounging poolside, watch your kids show you how long they can hold their breath underwater, or grill up the catch of the day on the provided propane grill. Multiple places to sit and dine ensure al fresco meals will be the highlight of each day and a colorful hammock tied between two trees gives guests a fun and comfortable place to nap.
