Villa Bellagio Description

Offering up a touch of Italy in our tropical hometown of Cape Coral, Villa Bellagio takes guests to the next level of luxury and opulence. A cobblestone driveway leads the way into a series of three arched garages, two of which can be used to keep visitors’ vehicles safe from the elements. A stuccoed exterior and red tile roof invites guests to explore the beauty that is housed within, offering 4 tranquil bedrooms, 3 spacious and spa-like baths, and space for a traveling party of up to 8 people to enjoy. Perched on the canal, the expansive backyard space provides plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation and will be the topic of discussion later in this tour.

The cobblestone of the driveway continues up to the front entrance of Villa Bellagio, where a rustic driftwood bench and massive wood double doors await entry. The doors swing open to reveal a dramatic entryway made more impressive by a vaulted ceiling and elaborate chandelier that hangs over a large foyer table. Arched opens flanked by large columns divide the separate areas of the home and for a change of pace, today we will start the tour with the formal dining room located just off the front door. A heavy wood table surrounded by cushioned chairs provides the perfect centerpiece for seafood feasts and family gaming sessions, kept bright by the modern “Candlelier” that hangs over the table.

Offering the opportunity to stay connected as guests do their own thing in separate sections of the home, the open concept floor plan of Villa Bellagio is a little larger and more impressive than most. A soft sofa in the living area gives visitors a comfortable spot to watch the state of the art television hanging directly opposite or take a cozy nap on a rainy morning during their stay. An overstuffed chair with matching ottoman sits in the corner where two sets of sliding glass door meet, providing egress to one of many balconies and terraces that run along the back side of the house. The artwork in this large space is quirky and whimsical with a painting of a wingback chair taking place of honor over the sofa.

A large round glass table surrounded by wicker chairs offers another place to eat, play games, or relax over your morning coffee. Located just outside the Italian kitchen, it is a convenient spot for enjoying a bowl of cereal in the morning or a late-night snack when the munchies hit.

Many companies promise gourmet kitchens, but none offer the beautiful functionality of the gourmet kitchen in Villa Bellagio! Taking up a large corner of the open floor plan, the cabinets are a warm redwood, the countertops are a beautiful speckled granite, and the appliances are stainless steel high end models that keep meal preparations fun. A wine fridge will keep your favorite beverage at just the right temperature and a breakfast bar offers overflow seating for two while the entire space lies under an elegant coffered ceiling.

The four bedrooms of Villa Bellagio are designed to take your breath away and the master suite does so easily. This room is easily larger than many small apartments and offers a king bed taking centerstage, its own television, and a private entrance to one of the patios. The en suite bath is fit for royalty featuring a walk-in shower, double vanities, and a soaking tub that will be put to great use.

Another king bed anchors the second master suite of our waterfront home, providing an en suite bath with a walk-in shower and double vanity.

The queen bed in the third bedroom is more proof that every attention is paid to every detail, offering a premium mattress topped with silky linens. Private access to another section of the expansive patio that takes up the back of the house makes this room popular and as in many of the other rooms in the home, an arched wood door adds a touch of Italian décor.

Kids need a place to call their own, even while on vacation, and the 4th bedroom can be exactly what they are calling for. Offering 2 twin beds and an elegant wood crib, this room will harbor the secrets and uncontrollable giggles of the tiniest travelers who sleep here.

The backyard of Villa Bellagio is an oasis that will be hard to leave. Taking up the entire expanse of the home, it holds a crystal-clear pool surrounded by lunge chairs on one end and then breaks up into separate entertainment zones throughout the yard. A tiki bar with sink and mini fridge anchors the opposite end of the patio. In between there are seating areas with outdoor sofas, dining areas tucked away under the covered patio, and beautiful views of the canal and the dock just beyond. This dock is for the use of the owner and cannot be used for rental boats but does make a great place to use the fishing gear provided by the homeowner for guest’s use. The two master suites are separated by a private courtyard containing a hot tub and two wicker loungers and a space that is just drenched in tranquility. An entire vacation can be spent without leaving the boundaries of Villa Bellagio and vacationers will still feel as if their escape was a memorable one they can’t wait to repeat!
